We are looking for an Employee Experience and Events Manager to join our HR and Marketing team in Sydney. In this diverse role, you will build strong relationships with a wide range of people across our business to embed our culture, deliver a great employee experience and bring fun to our teams across our Sydney and APAC offices.

In this role you will create truly remarkable events from conception through planning and execution. This role will entail organizing big (and small) events such as company parties, conferences, onsite events, and team outings. You will also be responsible for identifying and organizing opportunities to improve employee experience in Sydney and collaborating with our offices globally to share ideas and information to ensure a great experience for SIG employees around the world.

In this role, you will:
Champion Employee Experience
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of employee amenities, considering the distinctive features of each location to improve the daily work experience
- Foster relationships with employees across all offices to customize events and amenities to meet their needs and preferences
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends to introduce innovative concepts to the employee experience
- Oversee event budgets and deliver reports on the impact and effectiveness of events and amenities
- Work with local and global benefits teams to identify the best benefits and perks for the Sydney and APAC offices
- Manage + Deliver Engaging Employee Events
- Organize and implement SIG's signature events, ensuring they are impactful and reflective of our high standards and culture
- Source and secure venues, coordinate transportation, and manage catering services to create memorable events
- Work in partnership with internal stakeholders to define objectives, attendees, and budget, maintaining clear communication throughout the event planning process
- Handle all event logistics, from initial planning and communication to registration, on-site coordination, and post-event follow-up
- Attend events to manage all aspects of setup, execution, and breakdown; resolve any issues that arise, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all participants
- Manage, design and plan SIG's events calendar
- Work with recruiters to develop and execution of our recruitment marketing activities across the business. You will be encouraged to think of new and exciting ways to reach our target audiences
- Create, manage, and review budgets for all events
- Manage Hospitality + Catering
- Ensure the smooth operation of kitchen activities, upholding stringent standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and safety
- Meet the dietary preferences and needs of employees by providing a range of nutritious and enticing breakfast, lunch, and snack choices
- Actively seek and assess employee feedback to continually refine food selections
- Conduct responsible stock management, including inventory oversight, procurement, and waste reduction
- Keep abreast of the latest trends in corporate catering and hospitality, and implement innovative practices
- Formulate and oversee the catering budget, balancing cost-efficiency with the maintenance of high-quality standards
- Work with other departments to facilitate company events, meetings, and special occasions with premier catering services
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and culinary experts to improve our dining options

**What we're looking for**
- An engaged, results-oriented achiever with a focus on driving projects to successful completion
- Ability to manage multiple events and timelines simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills/abilities
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and strong communication skills, particularly writing
- Experience with negotiation for vendor relationships
- Demonstrated ability work collaboratively and build effective work relationships with all levels within the organization
- Ability and flexibility to attend events
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
