**Who we are**
The Trade Reform and Digital Trade Initiatives Divisions have been established to develop and deliver the vision and strategy for agricultural exports, and to coordinate the range of export business and digital reform programs that are currently underway. At the heart of this reform package is the modernisation of export systems by building “Digital Services to Take Farmers to Markets”.

The Digital Clearance Service Branch is focused on modernising and sustaining our digital export services by future proofing current and emerging systems. The successful applicants will collaborate with export program areas to deliver benefits for exporters across commodities.

**The Job**
The Program Support Officer will work closely with the Stream Planning and Delivery Team in monitoring and tracking incoming documents, ensuring all correspondence is triaged and actioned accordingly. The duties of the role include:

- working collaboratively as part of a small team to achieve outcomes
- supporting project management activities (including planning and delivery) and working with project teams and in partnership with business areas
- administering aspects of the branch’s procurement activities, including preparing documentation, managing requests for quotes and liaising with internal and external vendors and service providers
- assisting in contracting processes and onboarding new starters
- assisting in the production of program reports and artefacts throughout the project lifecycle to meet expected business outcomes
- undertaking filing and records management functions and ensuring records are accurate, complete and are managed in accordance with departmental policy
- updating and regularly distributing contact lists
- arranging and coordinating meetings with stakeholders, including organising venue bookings, audio visual equipment and other meeting resources as required.

**Please note** that this non-ongoing position is available for an initial period of eighteen months with the possibility of extension up to a maximum period of three years in total. This position may become ongoing in the next eighteen months which may result in the successful applicant being offered ongoing employment.

**What we are looking for**

**Knowledge and experience**
- Experience in a program support role or similar position.
- Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly gain knowledge of, Commonwealth Government contracting and procurement practices and the end-to-end recruitment processes involved in engaging contractors from Commonwealth labour hire panels.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience delivering results under pressure.
