The NSW State Emergency Service (NSW SES) is an emergency and rescue service made up almost entirely of volunteers and supported by a small staff contingent. NSW SES is a key influencer of other emergency service agencies and works closely with these partners to modernise and grow volunteering to save lives and protect communities

**Your new role**

The Zone Training Advisor is responsible for managing the development, deployment, and evaluation of the NSW SES State-Wide Training and Exercise Plan within a specific Zone. Collaborating with key stakeholders and the broader Training team, you’ll ensure consistent and effective delivery at the local level.

This role presents the challenge of delivering high-quality training and exercises across a geographically dispersed organisation during a time of transition, making a significant impact on the capability and readiness of the NSW SES.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- To be successful in this role you will:

- Demonstrated skills and experience in project management
- Thorough knowledge of AIIMS principles and processes and completion of DAME (Design and Manage Exercises) and/or willingness to obtain competence within 12 months.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 (or equivalent, or higher level qualification) or the current version (where the Certificate IV has been updated)
