Supply and Demand Specialist

Toro Australia is seeking a dedicated Supply and Demand Specialist - Parts and Equipment to join our team in Melbourne (Braeside). This role is perfect for someone who excels in ordering and monitoring stock levels, coordinating inventory movement, and maintaining effective control systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- General Purchasing Duties: Order and monitor stock levels from domestic and overseas suppliers based on MRP requirements. Maintain accurate purchasing records and liaise with various departments to support their needs.
- Demand Planning: Analyze and maintain sales forecasts to determine stock requirements. Review monthly forecasts with product managers and integrate demand into SAP.
- Parts Specialist: Perform expediting functions for all PD & V1 items, liaise with US and Australian warehouses, and arrange stock returns and annual scrapping of parts products.
- Equipment Specialist
- Vendor Performance Monitoring: Monitor ongoing vendor performance regarding quality, delivery, and service standards. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards, including the Toro Code of Conduct.
- Reporting and Analysis: Run and analyze stock shortage reports, maintain order status, and ensure timely product receipt.
**Qualifications**:
- Understanding of MRP processes is essential.
- Sound financial awareness and business acumen.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish effective business relationships.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Clear focus on goals and a bias for action.
- Ability to influence others and implement change.
**Other Requirements**:
- Accept and adhere to all WHSE responsibilities, policies, procedures, and safe work practices related to the position.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
