A Day in the Life
You will be 2IC to the Supply Chain Director within the L'Oréal Australia & New Zealand Supply Chain team, working closely with Supply Planning, Sales, Marketing and Operations to translate demand into dependable supply.
- Demand Planning & Forecasting: Own sales forecast accuracy for your portfolio; challenge and consolidate promotional and launch forecasts; build consensus between commercial plans, financial trends and sales history.
- S&OP / IBP & Cross-functional Alignment: Drive S&OP inputs, present forecast scenarios, and coordinate action plans with Supply Chain and commercial stakeholders.
- Inventory Optimisation & Supply Coordination: Monitor inventory health, trigger replenishment or mitigation actions, and partner with Supply Planners to avoid stockouts or over-coverage.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Deliver timely analytics and KPI reporting; recommend improvements to forecasting practice and catalogue rationalisation.
We Are Looking For
You're a strategic, analytical planner with FMCG experience who can act as the Supply Chain expert for your portfolio. You bring strong stakeholder influence and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Demand Planning & Forecasting
- S&OP / Integrated Business Planning
- Inventory Optimisation & Replenishment
- Data Analysis & Reporting (advanced Excel / BI)
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Cross-functional Communication Additional: 5+ years demand planning experience (FMCG preferred), advanced Excel, experience with stock management / ERP systems, strong root-cause analysis skills.
