Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, the Group Learning and Development Manager, is responsible for setting the learning and development strategy for Cater Care Group’s operational and support functions. This role will lead a passionate, experienced team to drive continuous improvement and innovation through transformational learning delivery solutions and dynamic talent development strategies. Partnership with the business will be
paramount as you work to ensure operational training programs meet business objectives, regulatory and policy requirements.

**The main responsibilities of the position are to**:

- In partnership with P&C Leadership team and external partners, develop and roll out our Leader Development program.

- Effectively lead, coach, motivate and develop a team of L&D specialists focused on delivering accurate and best practice operational learning outcomes in line with the broader Cater Care performance and strategic objectives
- Foster relationships with aligned or associated providers (e.g. TAFE, Education Institutes) where beneficial

**Skills and Experiences**:

- Minimum 5 years experience leading an L&D team across a medium-large business with Hospitality/Facilities Management industry experience well regarded.
- Previous experience developing and leading an internal Leader Development program. Experience working with DDI frameworks will be well regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to identify business learning needs and develop scalable L&D strategies and associated plans.
- Experience with eLearning platforms, Learning Management (LMS) and/or Human Resource Infrastructure System (HRIS) essential.
- Previous experience in the creation and delivery of learning packages, including instructional design.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Capacity to engage constructively and respectfully with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities to achieve high quality outcomes.
- Proven ability to build L&D team’s performance through structured ways of working and coaching methodologies.
