**Your new company**
A global organisation based in Melbourne CBD requires a Level 1-2 Service Desk Technician for a 12-month fixed term contract commencing immediately. The company promotes a collaborative and supportive work environment, offering exposure to leading technologies and career development opportunities.
**Your new role**
In this exciting new role, you will be:
- Taking first line calls from partners and staff to troubleshoot technical issues
- Logging tickets and managing them effectively
- Setting up and configuring new software and hardware, ensuring 100% functionality
- Relocation and setting up of IT equipment and ensuring that assists are managed accurately
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Service Desk or Help Desk role, providing Level 1/2 support
- Working knowledge and experience of Windows 10 and Office 2019/ Microsoft 365
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop rapport with both internal and external clients, both in person and over the phone
- Hardware and software troubleshooting experience
- Possession or progression towards ITIL v3 or v4 certification or a Microsoft certification is desirable.
- Exposure to a legal or professional services environment will be highly regarded.
