**POSITION**

A Technical Product Desginer position in the Engineering & Design Team has now become available due to company growth.

This role provides technical feedback and impact assessments to internal teams and other departments involved in setting up technical standards and/or documentation.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Design and develop new LED solution for the Australian market
- Customization of existing products or fully custom development for supporting specific lighting projects
- Design, Detailing, development, sample\prototype building, coordinating with Lab for testing of LED Light fittings\Luminaires
- Technical support for local production including wiring of local manufactured products
- Preparing 3D CAD models of parts, Assembly and preparing detail part drawings, Assembly drawings exploded views with BOM and Wiring Diagrams
- Communication with Eng. manager, senior designers, Lab\Testing, sales and marketing\Category, Metal shop and Assembly, Warehouse and Suppliers

**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**

To be considered for this position it is vital that you have the below experience:

- Bachelor of Industrial Design or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience within Product Design & Development within the Lighting Industry **is a must**:

- High level of knowledge in compliance of lighting luminaires into Australia.
- High presentation & attention to detail
