Position Purpose

Design and specify for interior architectural lighting projects and develop the portfolio within all tier client base.

Principle Accountabilities
- Collaborating with the end user, architects, electrical engineers or builders to identify their interior design desires and needs.
- Designing internal architectural lighting projects including hospitality, commercial, high-end residential and heritage for best use of space planning and aesthetic requirements.
- Interpreting architectural drawings and documentations in detail; incorporating design solutions within the layouts using AutoCAD/Bluebeam.
- Understand market trends and work with trends and changes to achieve ideal lighting solutions.
- Researching the initial design studies for schematic concepts.
- Visiting the project sites to assess and analyze the project.
- Building of 3D model in Sketchup/ Dialux, testing the light levels, specifying the luminaires, and creating interior design layouts, sections, and renders.
- Understand and demonstrate Inlite products.
- Negotiating the design solutions with the client to agree on the overall design approach.
- Ensuring projects comply with Australian Standards.
- Assisting in solving project issues both during and after construction and supervising the process.
- Implement sales and marketing strategies for all tiers of the client portfolio.
- Understand client portfolio and be able to accurately identify clients with the most potential.
- Participate in product training and strive to continually increase product knowledge.
- Continually log all client interactions into CRM system and ensure accurate tracking of activities.
- Accurately prepare quotes based on client needs and actively use CRM system to enhance sales strategy.
- Report weekly on sales activities and progress towards target.
- Attending training workshops with whole sales team.

**Requirements**:

- At least a relevant Bachelor Degree in the field of architecture or design.
- Relevant work experience in interior deign and consulting.
- Understanding of light products and design.

Pay: $62,086.81 - $121,023.59 per year
