**A Day in the Life
**Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Associate Inside Sales Representative will be contacting hospitals that already have our medical devices and equipment to sell service and preventative maintenance agreements. Your aim is to increase market share and build a strong pipeline in salesforce. You will need to be confident using the phone, have a consultative approach and the ability to influence and close sales. You will typically make 20 quality calls a day and assist with admin. Key Responsibilities:
- Driving sales by developing, identifying, and securing all relevant direct sales opportunities
- Serving as an Inside Sales Representative across Australia & New Zealand to achieve and ideally exceed assigned sales quotas and all the relevant goals and metrics.
- Generating market interest and close sales by executing product and segment marketing activities such as product demonstrations, focus areas or campaigns
- Actively following up all Medtronic product opportunities, referring leads as appropriate
- Building relationships and trust with customers, be a key part of their buying decisions
- Understanding customer buying patterns and use it to schedule calls
- Contributing to the fiscal revenue goals and proposing and defining tactical activities
**Must Have**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, General Science, Business or similar discipline
- A minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in a field sales/inside sales, clinical/technical, or marketing role within the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry
- A willingness to make multiple outbound sales phone calls on a daily basis
- Computer proficiency including MS Office
- The ability to build strong customer relationships, both internally and externally and throughout a customer organisation, at all levels
- Excellent communication skills, strong rapport building and negotiation skills
- An enthusiastic, energetic, ‘can do’ attitude**Nice to have**:
- Experience in Salesforce or a similar CRM system is advantageous
