**The Role**

The purpose of this role is to assist the service function of the business in achieving day to day operational effectiveness in line with the business requirements

Reporting to the Services Manager the Services Coordinator will be passionate about supporting people with disabilities to live a good life whilst being afforded the same rights, opportunities, and responsibilities as everyone else

**Main Tasks**
- Individualised service planning and implementation, in partnership with the people we support and their families
- Ensures participants are appropriately supported in exploring and resolving their needs, expectations and goals
- Liaison with NDIS planners, LACs, Govt agencies and various other stakeholders in relation to service delivery and outcomes
- Assist HR with recruitment
- You will be required to lead a team of support workers working in the community and in the shared accommodation houses
- Assisting scheduler with planning and constructing staff rosters
- Keeping electronic records and documentation of client and staff
- Participate in weekend on call roster (to support staffs if needed)
- Participating and collaborating in management meetings
- Liaise closely with Client intake coordination

**Qualifications/ Experience**
- Experience in similar role.
- Knowledge and understanding of NDIS.
- Support Work experience (desirable).
- Min qualification; Diploma in Disability Support, Mental Health, Community Services, Enrolled Nursing or similar

**Mandatory Requirements**
- Working with children checks card
- Australia’s drivers licence
- NDIS worker screening
- First Aid certificate
- COVID-19 double vaccination
- Proof of rights to work in Australia

**Skills and Competency**
- Customer service communication skills across all channels - written, phone and face to face.
- Strong stakeholder management skills including Participants, staff, and external stakeholders
- Be able to fill-in an occasional shift to cover for cancellations.
- Carry-out administrative duties in an efficient and timely manner.
- Decision-making and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Be able to supervise staffs/ provide professional development for staffs.
- Familiar with CRM software e.g., Brevity, Deputy, Shift Care etc
- Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook etc

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: $27.00 - $40.00 per hour
