An industry leading food company with innovation at its heart. Due to an exciting period of growth, they have created several new roles, one of which is for an experienced and ambitious Territory manager to join their existing, A class field sales team to assist in driving further growth in their HORCA and OOH channels.
**The Role**:
Reporting directly to the national Business Manager and based in Melbourne, your responsibility will be taking charge of their entire drinks and food categories.
Key responsibilities include:
- Growth of existing accounts by developing and maintaining strong relationship with clients
- Business development - meeting new business sales targets and nurturing of new accounts won to achieve sustainable growth.
- Coach and lead a team of 2 merchandisers.
- Develop both short
- and long-term strategies for continued success.
- Build Displays
- Drive activations with independent’s
- Manager relationship with key distributors
**Background**:
- Strong account/territory management experience within the independent grocery Channel
- Strong communication skills.
- Can do and positive attitude.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Ambitious, target driven and a desire to progress into future management roles.
