The Company

As a leading specialist hardware supplier to the security, door, window and associated industries, we are seeking to appoint a Southeast Victoria Territory Manager to support customers located in the East & Southeastern suburbs of Melbourne, regional Victoria, Riverina & South Coast of NSW who reports directly to our National Sales Manager and Director of Sales | Business Development.

If you are looking for a new challenge selling a market leading range of specialist hardware into various industrial segments whilst working autonomously within an experienced and close-knit team, this role could be perfect for you.

Our friendly team which includes Territory Managers based in all major Capital Cities of Australia have gained a reputation for industry best knowledge, service and experience.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven, technically minded individual looking to join our organisation for a rewarding career in sales. You may be in a similar role, or you could be an entrepreneurial type looking to take the next step in your sales career. While experience in the security or window and door industry would be advantageous, it is not entirely essential for this role as comprehensive training will be provided to the appropriate candidate that demonstrates the hunger, drive and attitude to succeed.

Continued training and upskilling as well as consistent support from our Sales Manager and Directors of the business will help you succeed in the territory for which you are responsible. Your role will support both existing and new customers by phone, email and in person promoting new and existing products to fabricators, repairers, glaziers, installers and resellers to increase our market share.

The successful applicant will be fully supported with a comprehensive induction process together with training across the company sales systems, processes, call cycles, and the full product range.

Responsibilities

· Maintain and grow sales to our existing customers based in Victoria and some parts of New Sales Wales.

· Identifying new sales and business opportunities to increase our market share.

· Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our business products and value proposition.

· Identify evolving customer needs and new, emerging products and competition in our industry.

· Secure new product sales within your region and territory.

· Develop growth strategies and work in conjunction with our National Sales Manager.

· Work in a collaborative manner with our internal sales, warehousing and finance teams.

· Report your activities, opportunities and provide market feedback.

· Plan and execute daily, weekly and monthly activities and call cycles.

Tools To Succeed

· Unrestricted current driver's licence

· Advanced computer skills including the ability to use Word, Excel & Outlook.

· Excellent communication, time management and organisation skills with attention to detail.
