Our client is a large, high profile and respected organisation providing essential services to Victorians. As part of their transformation journey, the organisation has established a supplier management function that will focus on deriving commercial value including identifying and addressing supplier risk, ensuring more robust supplier governance, social procurement innovation. With a newly established team and increased investment, this is a very exciting time to join the organisation

**About the role**
Reporting to the Supplier Commercial Manager, this Supplier Commercial Specialist role will support across the supplier management process including supplier analysis, performance delivery, governance, variations management and any dispute resolutions. You will form part of a newly established supplier management team, utilising your analytical skills, contract management expertise, vendor management and negotiation experience to uplift the supplier commercial management function.
This is an opportunity for an ambitious specialist to join a high performing team, and to learn from and further progress their career in a large supplier management / procurement function.

**Experience & skills required for the role**
- Experience in contract management and supplier relationship management ideally with experience managing $50m+ contracts
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably within business, data, finance, engineering or procurement/supply chain
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Procurement experience would be advantageous, but not required
