Due to organic growth of the business in the regions surrounding Ballarat/Bendigo we need an additional headcount to support ongoing business growth. This role would suit ideally a physiotherapist, osteopath, scrub scout nurse familiar with orthopaedic surgeries or other allied health professionals.

This is a “in theatre” based clinical surgical support position with a focus on advanced technology surgical assistant robotics.

**About You**
- Degree in Nursing, Allied Health, Paramedicine, Bioengineering/Engineer - Physiotherapist or a related discipline
- Previous operating theatre experience is highly regarded but not necessary
- Ability to absorb, comprehend and present technical information on assigned products
- Outstanding communication, organisational & time management skills
- You will ideally come from one of the following career backgrounds: Physiotherapist, Ortho Scrub/Scout Nurse, Radiology, Biomedical Engineering or similar technical fields, other competitor clinical or sales reps looking to move into advanced robotics.

**About the Responsibilities**:
This role will give you the opportunity to get up close and personal with the latest in medical technology — ROSA®, our surgical robot. In this challenging role, you will be supporting surgeons in theatre as they perform delicate robotic-assisted surgical procedures.

As a Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical support, whilst helping to drive utilisation of Zimmer Biomet’s range of products alongside our integrated digital platforms including mymobility® and OrthoIntel. Your day to day responsibilities include:

- Providing in-theatre support, assisting surgeons perform life-changing orthopaedic surgeries
- Managing the surgical equipment requirements for each case
- Keeping up to date with new surgical techniques, and delivering training on new iterations of Zimmer Biomet technologies
- Collaborating with multiple stakeholders both internal and external, whilst actively seeking out new business opportunities to refer on to the sales team
- Working with the ROSA advanced robotic automated surgical robot.
