**Company Description**:
The primary function of the Key Account Manager is to deliver against company targets of volume, market share and profit. The role plays a part in the execution of Red Bull Australia’s business plan strategies in Tasmania, with particular focus on the delivery against ‘perfect store’ and ‘win vs Competition’ targets and the growth of distribution across responsible accounts. Additionally, Part of this role is to coach, develop & mentor internal talent with 2 x Tasmanian based sales representatives a part of your job remit.
**EXECUTION OF PROMOTIONAL PROGRAMS**
You will be responsible for developing and implementing promotional programs across key accounts, Discussing, and negotiating promotional off locations in monthly account reviews. You will communicate the account promotional priorities to all field teams in a timely and effective manner. You will provide timely and accurate promotional forecasts, both externally with the customer, and internally with the demand planning process and be responsible for the financial claims and all financial impacts in relation to responsible accounts.
**VOLUME, FORECAST AND TRADE INVESTMENT DELIVERY**
You will understand and adhere to the company S&OP process and metrics, with mandatory participation and engagement in all meetings. You will deliver profitable growth via effective and optimal use of available investments whilst keeping within approved monthly Trade Investment budgets of permanent discount and Joint Advertising targets.
**DEVELOP AND EXECUTE ACCOUNT PLANS**
You will develop and execute account plans across independent Retail, Petrol and convenience, Non-Traditional Accounts and Corporate Grocery through achieving Red Bull success measures of: Distribution, Ambient & chilled space, Off location display targets both on and off promotion, Price compliance and promotions.
**ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT - DISTRIBUTION PARTNERS**
You will develop annual business plans, driving Red Bull initiatives and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) through a set of Distribution Partners within the state with regards to organisation requirements, distribution, volume, investments and KPIs. You will communicate and gain alignment and understanding of strategies and goals with DP partners, establishing a set communication schedule to discuss upcoming and ongoing Key Account programs.
**ACTIVATE THE WORLD OF RED BULL**
You will develop, implement and drive major Red Bull events at account level, activate off-location displays and improve visibility through the field teams of these major events as well as provide state-based engagement with key accounts with Filed Marketing Manager and field sales teams.
**TRAINING, IN-FIELD COACHING AND PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT**
You will coach Strikers through the “Power Selling” process & Red Bull sales principles that allow for proficient selling in trade, spending 2 x in-field coaching days in trade with the aim of coaching & mentoring your team through the selling processes. You will be responsible for managing the team to success through achievement of key performance indicators set out each trimester, ensuring territory optimization principles are embedded within the callage practices of the team - determining the right frequency within the right stores is achieved based on business priorities.
**TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS**
We are flexible as to where this role is based within the Tasmanian state, however it would include frequent Travel to Hobart & Launceston region for coaching DIT with 2 x Sales Reps in state (Weekly - Fortnightly) and monthly visits to Hobart & Launceston region for Account Management meetings. There would also be mínimal travel to Victoria for regional team meetings.
**Qualifications**:
Minimum 3 years field sales or other analytical experience
FMCG experience preferred but not essential
Negotiation skills from previous experiences in seeking ‘win-win’ situations
Strong financial and analytical capability
Understanding of category management, marketing, and finance principles
