Our purpose is to connect guests to the heart of the action; Hyatt Centric is thoughtfully designed to enable exploration and discovery so they never miss a moment of adventure. Our one and only beautiful Bellarine room attached to an outdoor terrace (257 sqm room) is designed to fit 150 guest gala dinners and 120 guest for conference.

**Event Planning Executive at Hyatt Centric Melbourne**

Based on site in Melbourne CBD, the Event Planning Executive is a pivotal role within the Sales & Marketing team, responsible for the organisation, coordination and planning of all MICE groups.
- Planning and execute MICE events
- Be the main liaison for all residential MICE group & clients
- Handling confirmed Conference & Events from contract stage to check out
- Obtain all the clients event requirements and communicate information to the necessary departments
- Review MICE files to ensure correct booking procedures, including group room and meeting programs, catering set up and themes as well as contractual agreements.
- Work closely with Sales Managers

**Qualifications**:
**Your Background**:
To be successful in this role you will require the following attributes:

- Previous experience in event planning, catering sales or group room sales
- A creative aptitude to actively incorporate a sense of originality into individual events
- Strong attention to detail, exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality / Event Management or related business education is advantageous
