**The Role**

The **Transport Coordinator** will be responsible for the coordination of an effective, responsive and safe Transport Support Services (including Mail Operations) for our client.

This role will be based at **Garden Island, NSW.**

Due to the security clearance checks for this account to be successful you must be an **Australian Citizen.**
- Manage the booking system for Fleet Vehicles and transport tasks
- Coordinate Non-Emergency Patient Transport tasks
- Supervise and coordinate drivers undertaking driving tasks
- Prepare driver rosters and coordinate any courier activities
- Ensure that the utilisation of the designated fleet is optimised to ensure the most efficient use of vehicles and contracted drivers
- Allocate, issue and receive Fleet Vehicles including licensing checks, provide vehicle familiarisation, documentation, provide fuel cards, provide e-tags/motorway cards (where required)
- Coordinate the replacement/exchange of fleet vehicles, including the coordination of the installation/removal of approved accessories
- Compile and maintain mandated transport documentation for issue and receipt of Fleet Vehicles, including recording and processing all traffic/toll infringements
- Coordinate alternate transport requirements where demand exceeds the fleet availability

**Skills and Experience**
- Experience in the delivery of a fleet and transport management functions
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage fleet management processes and practices effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Car (C) Drivers Licence
