Logistics Manager Role Overview

The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the transportation planning and scheduling process to meet customer promises.

  • Developing and executing effective transport plans
  • Leading a high-performing Transport Team
  • Coordinating Capacity, Sales and Operational planning
  • Monitoring Carrier and fleet performance
  • Implementing, monitoring and governing transport systems to ensure safety and compliance

To be successful in this role, you will require 5+ years of logistics management experience, preferably in a transport planning environment, with strong influencing and communication skills. Experience in building and leading teams in a complex, fast-paced environment is also essential.
