**About the company**:
Operating as a major global Multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer with global sites worldwide, our client is well known for its growth and innovation and is an Australian iconic brand in the marketplace, offering a range of healthcare products to local & global markets.

Due to increase in project requirements within the quality team, our client is now seeking a
**QC Lab Assistant **to be responsible for general housekeeping of the laboratory including stock take, ordering of materials & reagents, receipting & distribution of lab samples for testing within the lab.

**About the Opportunity**:
Key responsibilities include the following:

- Pick up samples from central receipt area.
- Administration duties & other general lab duties (eg water containers to fill), balance checks.
- Storage of samples & washing of labware / glassware.
- Unload & put away labware / glassware.
- Filing of documents & test Records.
- Take out waste bins & drop off at collection area for removal.
- Put together list of chemicals & liaise with person to collect stock.
- Ordering of reagents & consumables.

**About You**:

- A tertiary qualification in scientific discipline.
- Knowledge of GLP & GMP.
- Knowledge of windows based software.
- Keen attention to detail & thoroughness of completion of activities.
- Strong organisational skills & problem solving ability.
- Ability to manage time to ensure activities are completed in a timely manner.
