Operating as a major global Multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer with global sites worldwide, our client offers a range of healthcare products to local & global markets.

Due to increased demand, a New Opportunity has arisen for a QC Lab Technician with a **Science & Chemistry background to support large Chemistry Laboratory Team. 

About the Opportunity**  

Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Provide support to the laboratory including assay performance.
  • Ensure equipment & facilities are maintained & calibrated in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Coordinate samples for testing including distribution & forwarding of samples within the QC laboratory.
  • Ensure records are entered into LIMS & completed according to GMP.
  • Assist with GMP documentation and principles.
  • General housekeeping of the lab including stock take, ordering of materials & reagents.

About You

The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Science or Chemistry.
  • Previous lab technician experience with GMP knowledge.
  • Industry experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, food, FMCG.
  • Excellent computer skills for data entry & documentation.
  • Sound communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
