We specialise in a wide range of property services, including reactive maintenance. We are currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, approachable and organised HR Advisor to contribute towards achieving our strategic business objectives through the effective management of our best resource - our People.
- **Position Overview**:_
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
You will:
- Provide advice and support to our Line Managers on all people related matters such as but not limited to, grievances, investigations, employee relations, poor performance, conflict, injury management, workcover, legislative and policy frameworks, etc.
- Develop effective, collaborative relationships and networking with all internal stakeholders.
- Proactively ensure that employment entitlements are compliant with Award or other legislative entitlements and ensure that Contractor compliance is current.
- Develop, maintain, and promote HR Policies and Procedures in accordance with legislative requirements.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment practices with involvement in employee appointments and training, managing the expectations and requirements of internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Risk department to ensure that the incident management system is managed efficiently and effectively and staff safety education is prioritised.
- Assist the Finance department to ensure that payroll audits are effective and accurate.
- Deliver a range of employee engagement activities
- **Key Selection Criteria**:_
- A minimum of 2 years previous experience in a Generalist HR role, with a proven track record in demonstrating sound HR generalist knowledge and delivering contemporary HR practices across the business.
- Must have experience in dealing with employee relations matters in a medium to large sized business.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate well in writing as well as verbally with a diverse range of people.
- Must have an approachable and confident personality with the ability to coach, influence, counsel and mediate.
- Approachable team player who works collaboratively but has ability to take initiative and make decisions autonomously in a fast paced environment.
- Understanding of Payroll processing requirements would be an advantage.
