Linfox Intermodal is seeking a highly motivated and operationally focused individual to fulfil our Victorian Rail Manager in based in West Melbourne. As part of this role, you will be tasked with overseeing all aspects of the Intermodal Rail Operation in VIC. You will be accountable for the delivery of excellent safety, compliance, financial and customer service performance to grow and develop current customer relationships within the VIC region. Key Areas:
What does the job look like?
- Support the National Managers of the Road and Rail Networks
- Manage the weekly P&L to achieve the financial plans across all aspects of the VIC operation and its associated cost centres
- Ensure that the operations provide superior customer service in all aspects
- Ensure the optimal movement of freight to meet both customer requirements and operational efficiency
- Provide quotes and offer additional services to customers to promote growth and profitability
- Ensure site meets Compliance requirements and facilitates the auditing process
- Close out all Site-specific Corrective Actions on the Compliance reports within the required timelines
Are you the one?
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Road/Rail/Sea and Transport Operations or Transport related Industry
- Proven Management and Leadership skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business or Logistics desirable
- Microsoft Office - Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access
- Process-driven, analytical and methodical
