The DepartmentThe Department of Regional Development, Manufacturing and Water (DRDMW) drives growth for Queensland by managing sustainable water resources, leading innovation in manufacturing, and developing our regions. From our offices in Brisbane and a network of regional offices and manufacturing hubs, more than 700 DRDMW staff work to create a Queensland where communities, businesses and water resources are sustainable and resilient.
The position can be based in Brisbane or a flexible regional location to facilitate an adaptive and agile workforce.
The Project Officer is responsible for coordinating and providing business support to the Director (Water Planning and Science) and their management team by coordinating the provision of administration, human resource, finance reporting and other activities as required.
About You
- There are no mandatory requirements for this role however, experience in the use of MECS, Aurion, SAP, or any other information system reporting tools wouldbe highly regarded. Possess excellent communication, project administration, diary and inbox management, and stakeholder relationship skills with the ability to liaise, consultand negotiate across all areas of the business.
