
Training Support Officer

**Role Purpose**
The primary purpose of the Training Support Officer is to provide administrative support to the CEO and the Training, Membership, and Events functions of the Australasian Corrosion Association (ACA). This role will be varied and provide a customer focus and great membership engagement as well as a range of administrative support functions.

The Australasian Corrosion Association (ACA) is a membership-based, not-for-profit industry association promoting the co-operation of academic, industrial, commercial and governmental organisations that are involved with corrosion across Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Island and South East Asia. The ACA aims to disseminate information on all aspects of corrosion and its prevention by providing training, seminars, conferences, publications and other activities related to the industry.
**Key Responsibilities**
Provide reception and first point of contact function for our training services, members and stakeholders and be accountable for responsive and helpful advisory services using good judgement and discretion.
Maintain and continuously improve electronic and manual administrative systems to enhance the professional profile, products, services, information management and efficient and effective operation of the association.
Assist in the establishment of new processes to improve processes and procedures as part of the new business systems about to be implemented.
Support the procurement of products, services and equipment (inc training equipment, consumables with TDC), assist in event and training logistics support (printers, catering, venues etc), and liaise with external service providers and vendors to ensure that all goods, products and services are delivered in a timely manner.
Support the Training Division and CEO with reporting, presentations, and meetings schedule.
Communicate effectively, share information and work cooperatively with team members to contribute to the achievement of individual, team and organisational goals and member experience.

**Qualifications & Professional Association**
- Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent.
**Work Experience**
- 2 years’ experience in a reception, office administration role highly desirable.
- Experience in a customer service environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Programs and working with other software programs would be an advantage.
**Position Specific Requirements**
- Drivers Licence.
