**The Role**

Our Technology & Operations (T&O) division is focused on creating exceptional user experiences for our customers, partners and our people. Our objective is to support our people and business to provide great customer experiences and build a modular, digitised insurance business. With the ongoing growth our business is experiencing, we need only but the best talent to help us deliver on our business goals. As such, we are looking for an experienced Product Owner Team Lead to assist in leading our Product Ownership (PO) team through to success.

As the Product Owner Team Lead, you will help embed & uplift product ownership capability and associated change management activities. You will be providing support to the Product Ownership team and driving the vision, strategy and initiatives to help support our PO function, using different agile methodologies and know-how to educate whilst bringing people on a journey of learning.

Key to your role you will be assisting our manager to build a centre of excellence incorporating material used for quick access and reference for all teams. You will represent the voice of the customer and prioritise their needs. You will work with complexity and scale, be customer focused, results driven and able to work collaboratively with our people, customers and partners.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the rollout, embedment and maturity of Product Ownership at IAG
- Work in partnership with the Manager Product Ownership and key stakeholders to develop and align the strategy, vision and roadmap
- Assist in building the cycle of governance and reporting across all product owners, incl maturity tracking
- Develop, monitor, maintain and continually improve business processes
- Ensure Products / Services are Well Managed
- Handle escalations for the team and actively remove road blockers
- Implement strategies to maximise the adoption of the Product Ownership at IAG
- Contribute to IAG Technology & Operations performance with insights, collaborative input and expertise that promotes value creation, innovation, proactive risk management and improved performance

**Skills & Experience**
- Strong background in Agile Business Analysis, Agile Coaching, Product Ownership, Product Management or Project Management
- Experience benchmarking Agile maturity and setting a maturity pathway
- Exceptional facilitation skills and experience in leading Initiative Inceptions and incremental planning
- Strong communication skills and a passion for continuous improvement
- Proven people leadership experience
- Excellent documentation skills for technical documentation, knowledge articles and user training resources
- Experience with Agile workflow tooling e.g. Azure DevOps, JIRA
- Experience in the Software Development Lifecycle, Change and Configuration Management (ITIL) processes
- Proven ability to frequently adapt with new technical skills and methodologies
- Empathy and a growth mindset
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills

**Desired**
- Minimum 8-10 years of IT experience specialising in Agile Business Analysis or Coaching
- Agile accreditation in either SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), SCRUM, ICAgile or other
- Prior Insurance or Finance industry experience
- Tertiary qualifications
