**Based in Brisbane or as a Hybrid/FIFO Role, this is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Australia’s leading Contractors in the important position of Planning Manager.**

The primary function of the role is to **provide advice and support to the Client** in respect of the project schedule with the aim of improving productivity and staff and resource planning around the FIFO schedule.. You will be responsible for the development of the project work plan in consultation with the Client.

A minimum 5 years experience in a planning role is required. A minimum of 10 years experience in an engineering, procurement or construction environment is required. Cost engineering experience would be an advantage, combined with a high skill level in the use of Primavera.

**You need to understand how a project works so that you can influence and sell the plan to the Client**. Strong planning, organizational and negotiation experience is imperative, as you are required to meet with the client on a weekly basis.

On a personal level, you will be a lateral thinker, motivated and have the ability to hold your own in negotiations with the Client

**Salary**: Up to $210,000.00 per year
