**Inventory Planning Manager**:
- Req. Id: 8838- Date: 28 Nov 2024- Location: Brisbane, QLD, AU, 4000- Company: Queensland RailWe are currently recruiting for an **Inventory Planning Manager** to join our SEQ Strategy and Planning Team at our Brisbane Head Office. This is a fulltime permanent position.
In this role you will manage the inventory and logistics supply chain for all inventory material requirements and associated activities for SEQ and Regional projects delivery and maintenance operations, covering both Rollingstock and Infrastructure Assets, by providing exemplary leadership, operational delivery and financial management skills.
**About the role**:
- Provide leadership and motivation to an expert team in inventory planning and supply plan fulfilment of the logistics and inventory materials supply chain for all SEQ and Regional inventory materials requirements
- Manage the inventory levels of all SEQ Assets Inventory Distribution centres and other relevant inventory storage locations to ensure optimisation of inventory held and minimise stock deficiencies for planned and scheduled work requirements.
- Lead a collaborative and integrated management methodology with internal customers and service providers to ensure achievement in the delivery of all inventory materials
- Manage the identification and progression of commercial and contracts initiation, scoping, delivery and ongoing management for the successful fulfilment of inventory materials
- Manage systems and processes for the effective review and updating of medium and long term programmes in consultation with all relevant stakeholders.
**About You**
- High level of skill in managing logistics supply chain planning, programming and reporting across a diverse range of multidisciplinary Divisions and teams.
- High level of skill in project management and problem solving and identifying and managing risks.
- High level of leadership, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of Supply chain planning, procurement and investment procedures associated with the supply of materials within Queensland Rail.
- Substantial knowledge of the budgetary and financial planning requirements needed to plan major material requirements.
- Knowledge of and willingness to commit to and work within Queensland Rail's Values and Behaviours.
