Planning and Scheduling Manager

The Planning and Scheduling Manager is accountable for the management of the Planning and Scheduling teams within the Maintenance and Turnaround Function. This role spans across QGC (Midstream and Upstream). The role provides strategic support to all Maintenance, Campaigns and Turnarounds teams in the area of Planning and Scheduling.

**What’s the role?**

You will manage the team in delivery of Planning and Scheduling covering Maintenance Execution, Turnarounds and Campaigns to ensure quality outcomes in support of MRTA across Upstream and Midstream. Your role supports the ongoing integration and standardization of the AMS processes into QGC. Driving safe, effective, and cost-efficient delivery of maintenance activities in accordance with approved premises, AMS Standards and Recommended Practices, related work processes, required quality standards, and built on a culture of care and respect.

Your core accountabilities include the following:

- Lead and manage the scheduling and Planning teams to ensure the delivery of executable integrated schedules to Operations, that fosters safe, reliable operations and reflects QGC priorities and business objectives with a view of Continuous improvement.
- Ensure all HSSE risk assessments, operational and maintenance and turnaround processes are properly and rigorously used.
- Provide Planning and Scheduling support to the Maintenance Execution Manager and Execution teams across QGC.
- Accountable for the delivery and maintenance of QGC Preventive Maintenance Planning libraries, owner of the QGC Maintenance execution resourcing models, this includes provide clarity on resourcing levels required to the Maintenance Execution Manager for safe and efficient execution.
- Support the Maintenance Execution Manager and Maintenance Functional Support Manager and Maintenance Excellence Lead in the continuous improvement of QGC Maintenance Execution Processes.
- Working with the Maintenance Functional Support Manager and Maintenance Excellence Lead, contribute to the development and execution of the Maintenance Execution process improvement plans.
- Ensuring the Planning and Scheduling processes incorporates the requirements of the Manage Equipment Care Plans and other risk reduction and opportunity work ensuring other functional plans are incorporated appropriately.
- Implement the QGC Planner of the future road map including enablement of offshore support organization and digital technology.
- Challenge & support to the Maintenance Execution, Integrated Activity Planning and Turnarounds Process Owners to ensure processes are embedded, effective and leveraging sustainable improvements in business results.
- Ensure safe and optimal processes and structures are in place, supported and audited so that day to day tasks, TA activities and supporting processes are managed and executed with consistency and with focus on process safety, integrity, operational and maintenance excellence.

More specifically:

- Ensure that planning and scheduling processes are consistent with the Global Maintenance Execution, Integrated Activity Planning and Turnarounds processes.
- Drive standardization and simplification of Planning and Scheduling process across all areas and provide feedback to the Scheduling and Planning Supervisors for planning improvement opportunities.
- Deliver the Preventive Maintenance Planning library for Midstream.
- Deliver the schedules for integrated activities and events which have a significant production impact or risk.
- Ensure teams are driving continuous improvement by day to day, major events and TA planning and scheduling, reviewing critical path activities during and after execution to capture lessons learned.
- Completion of assurance activities with high focus on planning, scheduling, and the impact to execution processes.
- Ensure QGC scheduling team in optimizing and implementing schedule changes required by updates in the long-term plan and emergent scope processes.
- Support SAP Hannah Project delivery. This will require the incumbent to support all aspects of SAP Hannah including changes to Planning and Scheduling processes.
- Manage the team of schedulers for delivery of high-quality integrated schedules to the various gate and plan owners ensuring the efficient use of resources and tools
- Provide Leadership in QGC Planning and Scheduling processes in accordance with company standards and guidelines.
- Support the Plan Owners in analysis and interpretation of integrated schedules and associated resource profiles.
- Liaise with supply chain / logistics to ensure schedules are aligned with current forecast deliverables.
- Provide resource look-ahead and enable medium to long term planning for the Maintenance and Campaign Execution Managers.
- Provide other functions with support in successfully integrating their activities into the IAPS plan and schedule and provide planning and or scheduling support through coaching, t
