**The Opportunity**

Originally founded by Professor Fiona Stanley back in 1990, the Institute has grown to become one of Australia’s leading medical research Institutes attracting world-class researchers and medical experts focused on improving the health and development of children.

We are now seeking an Executive Officer to provide high-level support to the Healthy Skin and ARF Prevention Team Lead. Our Team, comprising of researchers, project staff and honorary members, aims for all kids to have healthy skin by working with communities to reduce the burden of skin infections to prevent rheumatic fever.

Located in the modern offices of The Kids within Perth Children’s Hospital in Nedlands, this role will be offered on a full-time basis for 2 years, with the possibility of extension.

***About You**

***This dynamic role will suit someone with excellent communication skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, complex environment managing multiple priorities whilst interacting at senior levels of the Institute with confidence.
- Experience in providing executive level administration support with the ability to manage and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- A go-getter that can work both independently and collaboratively as required.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to co-ordinate, develop and implement new administrative processes and procedures to improve team functionality.
- Knowledge in the field of health research and/or Aboriginal culture is preferred but not essential.
