  • Champion cybersecurity, privacy, and governance across all digital environments.
  • Collaborate with researchers, clinicians, and external partners to ensure digital tools enhance scientific discovery and translation.
  • Lead and inspire a skilled, multidisciplinary technology team focused on innovation, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and digital capability growth across the Institute.

This is a full-time, ongoing executive appointment based at the Perth Children's Hospital in Nedlands, WA.

About You

You combine deep technical expertise with an ability to think creatively and communicate effectively across disciplines.

To be successful in the role, you will bring the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide digital transformation and infrastructure modernisation.
  • Proven success migrating and managing cloud-based platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • A strong understanding of data governance, cybersecurity, and compliance in research or health settings.
  • Experience enabling AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics in support of scientific or organisational objectives.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • A forward-thinking mindset that embraces innovation and drives positive change.
