**About the Role**:

You will work directly and indirectly with an AHP under supervision following a delegated therapy program. This role requires flexibility across a broad range of therapeutic activities including the ability to accurately document, maintain client progress and support smooth operation of the Allied Health Assistant department. This role includes non-clinical support to the allied health team and ongoing commitment to professional development and learning.

**Key Responsibilities**

Work directly and indirectly with Allied Health Professionals to implement therapeutic interventions as delegated by the Health Professional
- s Provide clinical assistance to Allied Health professionals implementing therapy programs in consultation with the Allied Health Professional
- s Provide non-clinical assistance to Allied Health professionals including but not limited to administrative and cleaning task
- s Demonstrate capacity to communicate with clinical staff regarding concern for patient, family or care
- r Responsible for the safe management of equipment - this includes using equipment within standard operating guidelines, conducting appropriate inspections, and arranging repairs

**Skills & Experience**:
Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance/Currently enrolled or intending to enrol within 3 months in an Allied Health Assistant Certificate I
- V Recent experience working in a health care or aged care setting
. Well-developed verbal and written communication skill
- s Demonstrated organisational skills, including an ability to plan, set and prioritise workloads with tight deadline
- s Experience with computer systems including Microsoft Offic

**Desirable**:
Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
