**About Our Client**:
Reporting into the Financial Controller, your role will include:

- Manage the payroll function to ensure the team outputs are efficient and compliant (5000+ employees)
- Drive process improvement and change management initiatives
- Strategic leadership and team management
- Champion the compliance/corporate governance culture
- Implement best practice payroll controls, transparency and processes
- Proactively manage queries and potential issues to ensure mínimal escalation of non-compliance/non-payment queries
- Actively promote business relationships and partnerships by the payroll team with the business streams and other customers and providers
- Ensure all management and statutory reporting is assigned and completed compliantly and on time
- Other ad hoc tasks
