**What this opportunity involves**:
The Capital Works Manager is responsible for the full life cycle of a range of refurbishment and upgrade projects in occupied properties. A snapshot of your responsibilities includes:
Proposal writing and Project planningBudgeting - Understanding all the requirements to deliver a project and estimating the costs
Business case preparation - Writing a professional business case in support of proposed projects

ProcurementPreparation of consultant briefs and non-technical works scopes
Review and compilation of tender documents
Tender process management
Preparation of tender recommendations
Contractor and consultant engagement

Project coordinationCoordination of site meetings and inspections
Program monitoring
Work with authorities for approvals
Manage the performance of contractors
Deliver quality projects within projected time frames

Financial managementTrack financial status of projects
Recommend claims for payment
Manage security retentions
Seek variation approvals
Deliver projects within approved budgets

Stakeholder managementManage all stakeholder (owner, tenant, building management and contractor) expectations
Prepare project communications plans

**Sound like you? This is what we are looking for**:
You are a logical and analytical thought process that underpin clear, concise, and consistent communications to the project team and the client. In addition, you have superior stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build & foster successful relationships with your clients. Tertiary qualified in Building & Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline with proven project management experience desired. If you have a record in successfully delivering capital projects within the commercial and industrial built environment with sound working knowledge of base building services, then this is the role for you
