Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Forza Capital Full time $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Are you a driven, highly-relational and analytical investment professional?

Forza Capital is seeking a Principal - Investor Capital to lead capital raising, business development and investor relations in a real estate funds management role with real impact and career growth.

About Forza Capital

Forza Capital is an independent property investor group with a reputation for nimble, active investing and a track record of delivering consistent returns of ~ 20% IRR since 2010. We've transacted over $1.25 billion in Australian real estate, working with a loyal client base of family offices, high net worth advisory groups and individuals. Our Directors own 100% of the business, ensuring a flat management structure and swift, decisive action.

We're sector-agnostic, driven by the reward and risk balance in each investment opportunity and at the forefront of sustainable building conversion. Our team is small, close-knit and performance-oriented, valuing curiosity, mastery and ongoing learning.

Your Opportunity

Join us as Principal – Investor Capital and play a critical role in shaping our client-facing operations, building new relationships, and influencing how Forza Capital is presented to the outside world. As a key member of our 12-person team, you'll have broad exposure across the business and significant scope for growth, both within the role and beyond.

What You'll Do

  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the Directors/Owners and Head of Capital to raise capital for investment funds, prepare materials and manage client engagement.
  • Work cohesively with Fund Managers, Asset Managers, Marketing, Finance and real estate operations teams to market, manage and report on target investment returns.
  • Develop new client relationships with direct investors (Family Office, HNW clients and their advisors), leverage existing networks and identify business development opportunities.
  • Play a key role in investor relations, lead client functions, host industry events and manage effective communications.
  • Collaborate on fund structuring, due diligence and compliance.
  • Provide insights to Directors and support the development of new investment products.
  • Ensure governance and AFSL integrity through compliance activities.

Who You Are

  • Degree qualification in finance or similar, with a technical financial markets background.
  • Analytical, research-led approach to capital raising and business development.
  • Personable, collaborative, and eager to challenge thinking and contribute to decision-making.
  • Comfortable working in a small, agile team with a flat management structure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to present complex information to investors.
  • Buy-side experience in real estate funds management is ideal but not essential; a successful capital raising background across related asset classes will translate.
  • Driven by conscientiousness, hard work and personal commitment to investors.

Why Forza?

• Broad exposure across the entire business.

• Direct access to decision-makers and the ability to influence strategy.

• Opportunity to work on varied investments, including sustainability-focused projects.

• Career growth in a period of market change and opportunity.

• Headquarters in Melbourne; role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne (including regular travel)

• Flexible work arrangements and a culture that values family and life outside the office.

Discuss your aspirations and how you can contribute to Forza's continued success.
