Your contribution
Reporting to the Director, you will support the team's Project Managers by undertaking a range of project tasks and administrative functions related to the team:

- Provide timely, high-quality advice and support to the Director and the team's Project Managers in a complex, fast-paced and sensitive working environment to support the planning, processing and recording of activities.
- Undertake effective project management and performance activities for the team by liaising with the DTIS Business Services and Corporate team regarding procurement, program services, finance and budgeting.
- In consultation with the Tourism Business Operations Team coordinate the development, maintenance, training and advice of administrative processes, procedures and use of systems to ensure compliance and the provision of quality support services to the team.
- Create correspondence items for the team, monitor deadlines for correspondence and co-ordinate reporting requests across the team, and liaise, negotiate and consult with team officers on behalf of the Director to ensure correspondence and reports are completed in a timely manner.
- Undertake document quality assurance including proof reading project reports, briefings, submissions and other correspondence on behalf of the project in line with departmental guidelines, governance requirements and a project management framework.
- Monitor, capture and distribute daily tourism-related media to the relevant team members and remain informed of current tourism matters including issues, stakeholders and milestones.
- Work flexibly under limited supervision, using a high level of initiative to meet changing business needs and priorities.
- Be a proactive contributor to the team, including research, systems improvement and hands-on support as required to deliver on key tourism projects for the state, while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to probity procedures.
