**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This dynamic role requires an adaptable and forward-thinking person who can organise the logistics team and coordinate all transport movements throughout the business to meet production requirements and customer expectations. Problem-solving skills and clear cross-departmental communication skills are critical to the success of this role.
Working closely with the production, marine, procurement and sales teams, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for:

- Coordinating all in and out bound oyster deliveries and collection of oysters from farms
- Arranging collection of all other deliveries
- Day to day management of truck and forklift drivers
- Maintain accurate records and compliant documentation
- Ensure safe working practices are the centre of your working day
- Coordinate rosters and daily/weekly schedules for the logistics team
- Assist in oyster processing areas and arranging fulfilment requirements in advance
- Maintain logistics budgets, and look to improve supply chain efficiencies
- Maintain all production vehicles
- Ensure all company trucks and storage areas are kept clean and tidy to a high food service standard in adherence with the AOC HACCP program
- Represent the business to the highest professional standards

**_Please note that a current Driver Licence is essential for this position. A Forklift Licence, MR/HR licence and First Aid Certificate are an advantage._**
