**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and lead the Support team to provide high-quality IT service management and testing implementation to the government department.
- Liaise and report to the System and Business Owners to ensure smooth operation and effective communication.
- Manage relationships with SIAM teams, external suppliers, and integrators to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
- Support complex integrations between supplier systems, event management systems, and supporting data systems.
- Lead consulting and solution design efforts to ensure the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain excellent written and oral communication with all stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with SIAM processes and best practices.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize team performance and customer satisfaction.
Essential skills:
- MicroFocus Service Manager 9X and Service Portal
- 5+ years IT Service management experience
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- ITIL V3 or V4
- Prince 2
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong consulting and solution design skills.
- Relationship Management
- Recent Defence experience
Desirable skills:
- ALM, OO and uCMDB
- Test Manager or tester
- TAE Training and Assessment
