Strategic Leader for Broker Partnerships

As a key member of the Suncorp Group team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our Broker Partnerships strategy. This highly visible position reports directly to the Executive General Manager and requires a senior leader with extensive experience in Financial Services, Banking, and Mortgage Broking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement the Broker Partnerships strategy to support Suncorp Bank's growth in home lending, ensuring exceptional service delivery to brokers and customers.
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities within our Broker Partnerships Channel.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, serving as the face of our broker channel.
  • Lead a dedicated team of business development managers, empowering them to achieve exceptional customer and broker outcomes.
  • Uphold rigorous risk and governance standards for the Broker Partnerships business.
  • Collaborate effectively across business units to align strategic goals and drive impactful outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in Business or equivalent field.
  • Extensive experience in Financial Services, Banking, and Mortgage Broking.
  • Proven track record with 10+ years of commercial experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry, including 7 years in sales and 5 years in sales management.
  • Exceptional influencing, negotiation, and planning skills to execute our Intermediaries strategy effectively.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with a focus on coaching and developing team members to excel in their roles.
  • Strategic mindset with a knack for driving profitable growth and enhancing customer acquisition and experience.
  • Ability to innovate and challenge existing processes to achieve creative solutions.
  • Strong existing industry relationships across the broker market.
