Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our national business expansion strategy, driving sustainable growth and revenue through strategic partnerships and market development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive national wholesale business growth strategy to drive expansion and revenue growth.
- Identify and secure large-scale, high-value employer default fund partnerships through effective relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic growth initiatives and expand our footprint in key markets.
- Manage a robust pipeline of prospective employers, ensuring consistent engagement and conversion through targeted marketing and sales efforts.
- Oversee the development of high-quality business development collateral, including RFPs, tenders, and proposals that meet client needs and expectations.
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, decision-makers, and tender managers to unlock new business opportunities.
- Represent us at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
- Deliver strategic insights through regular reporting, forecasting, and analysis using CRM and market intelligence tools.
- Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing Business Growth team to achieve performance targets, foster innovation, and uphold our values.
Requirements
- Proven success in wholesale business development and market expansion, with a strong track record of achieving results in competitive sales environments.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics) and data-driven approaches to managing client relationships.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, paired with sharp strategic and analytical thinking and commercial acumen.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (preferred) and RG146 Accreditation (essential).
