Site Management Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our Supported Independent Living (SIL) service. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in the disability sector, strong communication skills, and the ability to foster a positive environment for clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to clients, as well as mentor Support Workers, highlighting the importance of consistency and professional boundaries.
  • Promote a person-centered approach, giving clients choice and control over their lives.
  • Oversee the effective management and daily operations of SIL accommodation services.
  • Foster a positive environment and maintain an open-door policy where staff and clients feel valued and safe.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plans, ensuring clients have a voice and actively supporting their independence, hobbies, and interests.
  • Address performance management and conflict resolution as needed.
  • Value reflective practice, applying it in planning, reviewing supports, and future learning.
Requirements:
  • A qualification equivalent to Certificate IV in the Social Services or relevant field, such as Social Work, Psychology, Disability, Mental Health, or Community Services.
  • Knowledge of relevant disability legislation and standards, including the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and the National Standards for Disability Services.
  • A NSW driver's license, current first aid and CPR certification, and NDIS Worker Checks (NDISWC) and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
