Client Services Representative

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Client Services Officer to join our team at Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH). As the first point of contact for our clients, this role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Navigate multiple systems, including our digital phone system, to manage high-volume calls and email inbox.
- Greet clients and organize the waiting room workflow to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
- Coordinate and book appointments, both over the phone and in person, to meet the needs of our clients and their pets.
- Act as a liaison between clients and our clinical team, providing updates and information to ensure seamless communication.
- Handle cash, EFTPOS, and other payments, maintaining accurate records and adhering to financial policies.
- Request results, samples, and documents from third parties, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of critical information.
About You:
We are looking for a dedicated and team-oriented individual who can bring a positive, engaging, and helpful attitude to this role. As a 24-hour facility, we require someone who is available to work a variety of hours across a 7-day roster, including weekends. To be considered for this position, you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a high-volume reception or administration-based position.
- Proven ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Display an empathic yet resilient attitude, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent work ethic, with a great team player attitude and ability to work autonomously when required.
- Passion for animals and providing exceptional customer service.
