Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our thriving Renewables Energy Finance Team. In this key role, you will manage and grow a portfolio of vendor accounts, driving sustainable business growth through strong relationship management and strategic sales initiatives.

About the Role:
  • You will be responsible for prospecting, onboarding, and activating new renewable vendors within your portfolio.
  • You will strengthen vendor relationships and implement growth strategies to position us as Australia's market leader in renewable energy finance.
  • You will own sales performance for your state/territory with a focus on deal flow, portfolio utilization, and origination growth.
  • You will stay ahead of competitor activity, market trends, and policy changes, providing valuable feedback to enhance our offerings.
  • You will collaborate closely with relationship managers to optimize vendor engagement, retention, and performance.
What You'll Do:
  1. Drive sustainable business growth through strong relationship management and strategic sales initiatives.
  2. Manage and grow a portfolio of vendor accounts.
  3. Prospect, onboard, and activate new renewable vendors within your portfolio.
  4. Strengthen vendor relationships and implement growth strategies.
  5. Own sales performance for your state/territory.

  • 3+ years' experience in a high-paced sales environment.

  • Strong business and financial acumen.
