Job Overview

The Land Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in securing lands for future renewable energy projects, ensuring the timely delivery of land strategy and enabling the company's growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Land Advisors to execute APAC and Global Land project land assembly plans through strategic acquisitions, contract rights, mining permits, licenses, and leases.
  • Maintain accurate records of contract documents within the organization's systems.
  • Monitor key milestones, renewals, and compliance obligations.
  • Develop and maintain project coordination tools, including stakeholder engagement logs and relevant project management resources.
  • Conduct due diligence inquiries on properties, such as title searches, and prepare comprehensive reports outlining findings.
  • Coordinate governance and compliance checks with the Legal team.
  • Manage landholder exclusive collaboration contracts, NDAs, and similar agreements, collaborating with the Legal team on novel and complex issues.
  • Organize planning meetings, arrange project logistics, and coordinate travel requirements for the team, including preparation of Journey Management Plans, presentation materials, and stakeholder meetings setup.
Requirements:
  • Experience in commercial support.
  • Familiarity with WA land tenure classifications.
  • Background in para-legal work.
  • High capability in utilizing databases and systems for information management.
  • Ability to interact constructively across all levels and functions to deliver outcomes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Belief in the value of teamwork and collaboration.
  • High levels of self-motivation with demonstrated resilience in managing diverse workloads and priorities while delivering quality and timely results.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
