Leading a team of skilled technicians in the field is a challenging yet rewarding role. As a Field Leader, you will oversee the execution of construction, maintenance, and restoration works for our network services.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and management, with experience in similar roles in the construction or technical industries. A strong focus on health, safety, and environmental considerations is essential for this position.

We are seeking a highly influential leader to join our Network Services team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire their team members.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing local leadership for a team of employees and contractors
  • Implementing improvement programs to drive continuous improvement and best practice across the workgroup
  • Communicating process, technology, and organisational change at the field operations level
  • Providing oversight for project scoping, planning, resourcing, and resolution of technical issues or faults
  • Supporting the Field Delivery Manager in managing people and performance issues and opportunities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Management or leadership related qualification or equivalent demonstrated experience in field leadership roles
  • Previous experience as a team leader, construction project leader, or work group leader
  • Previous experience in construction, maintenance, and technically related activities
