Our organization is seeking an experienced Project Leader to manage our construction projects in Melbourne. Due to the increased demand for our products, we require a professional who can coordinate and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely completion of projects, coordinating with teams, and monitoring progress against established timelines.
- Coordinate workshops to prepare and submit drawings for approval.
- Prepare job sheets and raise allocations for materials required to complete works.
- Ensure products are supplied to sites on time.
- Monitor and adjust project timelines to fit within the overall construction program.
- Conduct site surveys as necessary.
- Verify that quality checks and controls are completed for every project.
- Visit sites regularly to ensure contracts are being executed correctly and maintain high installation standards.
- Plan for labor or install teams to install product ranges.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Organize project coordination meetings and prepare documentation for each project.
- Establish Environmental Health & Safety Systems and Risk Assessments for projects.
- Ensure all works for assigned projects are completed.
- Diploma in Project Management (BSB51413) or equivalent qualification.
- National Induction for Construction (White Card CPCCOHS1001A).
- Driver's license (class C).
- First Aid certification (HLTFA311A).
- WHS Risk Management for Supervisors and Managers training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Able to think and react quickly.
- Strong time management skills.
- 5 years' experience in the construction industry.
This role reports directly to the State Manager - Victoria. Salary packages will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
