Job Title: Construction Manager

Are you a seasoned leader looking to take your construction career to the next level?

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead our multi-site construction operations in Geelong/West. This is a pivotal leadership role that will challenge and satisfy you.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and mentoring a team of 4–6 construction supervisors, fostering professional growth and high performance.
  • Monitoring and updating job status in real-time, adjusting forecasts and site start schedules to optimize resource allocation.
  • Developing, tracking, and reporting on regional monthly budgets, working with supervisors to maximize build efficiency.
  • Ensuring all warranty and progress claims are accurately documented and processed in a timely manner.
  • Building and maintaining effective partnerships with suppliers and trade contractors, acting as the primary escalation point for performance, quality, or delivery issues.
  • Aligning trade and supplier allocations with project schedules, closely monitoring performance metrics to drive consistency in build quality and efficiency.
  • Liaising with supervisors to identify and resolve on-site issues swiftly, ensuring contractual obligations and building standards are upheld or surpassed.
  • Minimizing ETS through proactive planning, cost-effective problem-solving, and close coordination with design and procurement teams.
  • Reviewing and resolving escalated client concerns quickly, maintaining a customer-first mindset and preserving brand reputation.
  • Analyzing client feedback and Net Promoter Scores (NPS), partnering with managers and supervisors to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conducting final quality assurance inspections prior to client walkthroughs, ensuring every detail aligns with company standards.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to assess build feasibility, control costs, and recommend innovative solutions to construction challenges.
