Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team in Sydney CBD. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the facilities within our corporate environment.

Job Description

As a Facilities Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Facilities Management: Ensure the facilities are well-maintained, clean, and safe for tenants and visitors.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Coordinate and oversee repairs, maintenance, and renovation activities within the facilities.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets for facility maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects.
  • Client Relations: Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding facility-related concerns, inquiries, and requests.
  • Contractor and Vendor Management: Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building codes/regulations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Technical Experience: 3-5 years of electrical/mechanical trades or engineering experience, or technical experience within building services infrastructure.
  • Client Service Experience: Previous exposure to providing premium client service would be an advantage.
  • Workplace Health & Safety Knowledge: A good working knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements applicable to this role.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve issues quickly and autonomously.
  • Organizational Abilities: Demonstrates organizational abilities by effectively handling multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and setting priorities.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate at all levels and build effective and professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced team and contribute to a global brand with a growing national team.
