We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ground Services Manager to lead our team at Townsville Airport. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of exceptional ground handling services to our airline customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead a dynamic team of 15 employees, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and engagement.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve team productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ramp and Customer Services
    • Oversee the delivery of safe and efficient ramp and customer services, ensuring compliance with airline and regulatory requirements.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with airline customers, stakeholders, and airport authorities.
  • Workforce Management
    • Manage workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet operational demands.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement, retention, and development.
  • Audits and Reporting
    • Oversee the preparation and submission of regular reports and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Operational Experience
    • A minimum of 3 years' experience in ground handling services at an Australian airport.
    • A minimum of 5 years' experience in people management, with a strong ability to confidently and effectively manage people.
