Our organization is seeking a skilled Compensation Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employee compensation, including payroll processing and record-keeping.

About the Role:

  • Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee compensation, including hours worked, pay rates, and benefits.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compensation policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with management to identify and resolve compensation-related issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, responding promptly to inquiries and concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process payroll accurately and timely, including fortnightly employee payroll.
  2. Maintain payroll records for existing employees, process new starters, terminations, and payroll adjustments.
  3. Facilitate recruitment processes and administer employee contracts.
  4. Review, update, and create company policies and procedures.
  5. Assist in developing and implementing resources such as HR templates, internal processes/process maps, forms, and checklists.
  6. Process Single Touch Payroll and Superannuation lodgements and payments.
  7. Assist employees with any payroll-related queries or issues.
  8. Production and Review of Payroll/EOM/EOFY reports.
  9. Support process improvements to drive payroll efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Intermediate level of MS Excel.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and standards.
  • Ability to use accounting software such as Xero.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in HR and Payroll.
  • Experience processing statutory payments.
  • Previous experience with onboarding and employee contracts.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail.
